1. iRobot Roomba i3+ EVO

The iRobot Roomba i3+ EVO is a great robot vacuum that has a variety of innovative features that make it much easier to maintain than other models. Its Automatic Vacuum Cleaners bin emptying is one of the most efficient features we've seen on an iRobot, and it works well with hard floors as well as carpets. It's also easy to set up and operate and the app will guide you step-by-step through the process. Another feature that is impressive is its ability to return to where it was when we tested it. It did this for 77 minutes on one cleaning, before running out of battery.

The i3+ EVO unlike the other robot vacuums that we tested comes with a self vacuum near me-emptying bin that automatically disposes of debris into an external dirt compartment on its charging base once it is fully filled. This helps reduce the need for hands-on maintenance and helps keep the i3+ EVO from overfilling, but it still requires manually empty after each cleaning session. The i3+ EVO dust bin can hold 2.4L that is enough to last through four to five cleaning sessions.

Like the i7model, this model is equipped with state-of-the-art floor tracking sensors to create maps and navigate in neat rows. However, the i3+ EVO only stores a single map while the i7 can store multiple. The i3+ EVO is more effective of removing surface debris in comparison to other robovacs that we have examined, but it's not the most effective in cleaning edges and corners. It's also a bit less gentle on furniture, despite being fairly quiet. It pulled chairs away from walls and caused some collisions with the sides of our bed, and became stuck on cords and toys during our testing.

It's the best value for the money available at the moment and even beats other Roborock models which are much more expensive in many ways.

The only drawback is that it's louder than other models, and doesn't perform better in our user-satisfaction and predicted reliability tests.

The Q5 Pro comes with a large dust container of 770ml. This means you won't have to empty it as frequently as other 2-in-1 robots. Its 240-minute runtime is also extremely generous when compared to other models we've tried. If the battery is depleted it returns to its dock and recharges before resuming cleaning where it left off. You can control the Q5 Pro using the app or voice commands with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.

This is one of the first robots we've seen to incorporate 3D mapping. That, combined with some other innovations, helps it perform exceptionally well during our mopping and vacuuming tests. The model is equipped with an internal dToF LiDAR sensor to map your home and create efficient cleaning routes. The iMop awed us with its navigation efficiency and coverage evaluations and was good at getting around obstacles, such as furniture. It also has the ability to locate its way back to the base station, which is a great benefit in the event that it is unable to recharge its battery during cleaning.

The spot cleaning mode allows you to clean a particular area on your floor. It can also be manually programmed to follow a fixed path, which is beneficial for narrow hallways or stairs. It did a decent job of cleaning carpets in our carpet cleaning review however it had a difficult time with higher pile carpets and carpets.
