WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades give you boosts in certain statistics. Each upgrade increases the level of an item by +3. A random extra substat is also added to every upgrade.

The upgraded gear typically has a greater value for trade, unless it has inherently low requirements (like the FB sorc's shield) or has a high stat variation (like eth titan weapons). Upgrades are less valuable for those with higher variance because of the requirement to roll the perfect version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader allows players to upgrade their gear to a higher level by providing the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be applied on any kind of weapon or armor. However, the item that is used to upgrade will be consumed for the duration of time and can't be used again. Upgrades can also be applied to the enchantments.

The upgrader is located in every major city, and can be visited at any time to upgrade your equipment. It is recommended to visit the upgrader every few weeks, to ensure that your equipment is up-to-date.

Upgrades will cost more depending on the item level, but they will always be less expensive than purchasing new gear. For instance, upgrading a Benthic chest to ilvl 385 will cost 20 recycle points purchasing a similar piece from another player will cost 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are items which can be used to upgrade weapons, tools, armor, and other items. They can be purchased from item upgraders NPCs for a variety of currencies. They are also available on random treasure lists. Once purchased, an upgrade is able to be applied to any tool, weapon, or armor. The button will display the preview of an item's next upgrade level in the event that there are enough materials.

The cost of upgrading is based on the slot of the item level upgrade (simply click the next web page) and the current item level as well as the level of the weapon, which is more than bracers or gloves, for example.
