World of Warcraft Item Upgrades

Item upgrades are a key aspect of preparing your character. Upgrades increase the base damage and enchantments of items.

They also offer bonus effects and improvements. The Blacksmith can sell them to you.

The upgrade button is located on any item. Every item recycled adds level to the gauge for upgrading.

Weapons

When a weapon is upgraded, Best Item upgrade it will gain a base damage bonus as well as an increase in the scaling factor that affects other stats. The weapon may also gain a number of upgrade components that offer additional features or effects, and some have distinctive cosmetic effects. A weapon can also be upgraded to include a Calibration attribute that increases certain stats, for example Weakspot damage or Crit Rate. This is done through the Gear Workbench interaction menu. Depending on the weapon tier, this can be done up to four times.

When the weapon is at the maximum level of upgrade, it may be reforged using a variety of different types of upgrades to increase certain stats or add bonuses and effects. These upgrades can all be applied simultaneously and their effects will depend on how rare the weapon is.

There are two Blacksmiths in the game who can perform these upgrades: Blacksmith Hewg in the Church of Elleh hub area, and Smithing Master Iji in the Road to the Manor Site of Grace. Both upgrade materials are different: Smithing Stones to modify the type of damage that a weapon deals and Somber Smithing Stones to alter the standard weapons.

It is generally advised to improve weapon damage first, followed by armour defense, and then the other secondary stats that are required by your build. It is not uncommon to see melee Druids upgrade their weapons prior to upgrading other gear. This will increase DPS. This is especially relevant to enchantments that are extremely effective in boosting a weapon's damage and other stats.

Armor

Upgrades to armor can require multiple attempts, based on the type of armor. If a player is looking to upgrade Steelclash armor into Dragonscale, then the first attempt will result in a brand new Dragonscale armor with an armor base defense of 59-67. The second attempt would result in a new Dragonscale armor that has an initial defense of 67-77 and so on.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild lets players to upgrade their armor sets up to level 4. To upgrade their armor, players must visit the four Great Fairy Fountains that are located in the game. Each of these locations houses the power of a fairy who can upgrade one piece of armor for the player.

This bizarre trinket seems to be influencing the inhabitants of this maze by making them more common. At present it makes all types of mimic Xx more prevalent, and gives each floor an X% chance of having an ebony-colored mimic. Upgrades to this trinket will cost an amount of energy.

This enchanted Scepter's magic seems to alter the dungeon's environment by increasing the probability of generating grass and water. This trinket, at its current level, will cause X% of regular floors to be filled with grass or water. It does not affect enchantments, glyphs, cursed armor or weapons, or other items that are created to help solve the dangers in rooms.

The item, which appears like a eyes of a nymph appears to alter your vision in a manner that goes beyond merely reducing your field-of-view. At the present time, this trinket increases the overall health gained from drinking potions of healing, waterskins and wells of health by X% and grants mind eyesight on enemies within Y tiles. This does not stack with the Heightened Senses.

Skull Cavern is where you will find Trinkets after you've completed the Mastery Cave. You can find them by defeating Monsters, and in chests and crates. They are not available in the Mines or Volcano Dungeon.

Place the trinket in the Anvil when it needs to be upgraded. This will have an effect on the trinket and will either increase or strengthen its effects. You can reorge a Trinket for as many times as you want, though it will always have a different effect than the one it was when you made it.

You can upgrade your Trinkets in the Alchemy Station by placing them into a Magical Catalyst. This will cost 6 energy, but will increase the power of the trinket by a small amount.
