World of Warcraft - Item Upgrade

Item upgrade allows players to raise the item level of equippable weapons and armor. This improves the power of the equipment, in addition to sometimes adding buffs or rolling an affix again.

It is important to remember that upgrading magic and common gear isn't always worth it. Rare and exclusive gear will quickly outclass upgraded magic and common gear.

Cost

The player must pay gold to upgrade an item. The cost of upgrading an item varies based on the item's current status and the type of upgrade. Upgrades to weapons are generally less expensive than upgrades to armor, since weapons have lower requirements. The amount of Gold required to upgrade an item increases as the item is upgraded to the next level.

An upgraded item will also come with increased stats, which could boost its performance in various ways. This could include increasing its attack power critical strike chance, or damage per second. In addition an upgraded item might be able to offer additional buffs to the unit it is equipped with. These upgrades can be used to increase the overall power of a group or individual unit, and can be a major influence on the gameplay.

Any item upgrader NPC can be found in the game. These NPCs are located in the major questing areas or capital cities. Players can also locate item upgraders in dungeons that have high-level bosses, or by talking to NPCs in their garrisons for their faction.

The upgrade system for items in World of Warcraft provides players with the possibility of upgrading the level of armor, weapons, and trinkets. The process is similar to the process used for gear reforging in Mists of Pandaria and Warlords of Draenor however instead of using the appropriate currency, players must visit an item upgrader NPC to complete the process.

Upgrades can be costly particularly for armor and weapons. Based on the upgrade path you choose, each item level increase will cost Valorstones or Crests. The costs can be prohibitive for those who do not have the resources, or are unwilling to grind.

Fortunately, the game allows players to play a reroll of an upgraded item by using an additional tool available in the menu for items. This option will replace the upgraded item with an unlevel 1 version that has different bonus effects. This is useful for item Upgrader kit obtaining higher scores on items that are already upgraded, but can be a waste of time and resources.

Requirements

In addition the upgraded item will be awarded an additional stat that is based on the tier it's in. This bonus is a combination of a guaranteed additional substat as well as a random stat that can change in value from upgrade to upgrade.

Reroll Tokens can be used to reroll an item that has been upgraded. The new item will come with a different set of extra bonuses, as well as a lower level of base item. The rerolled item will also have different requirements for strength and dexterity. It is important to note that the item rerolled does not keep its original strength or any wasted resource.

Rerolling some upgraded items is only possible if the item was upgraded was an Epic Rare, Rare or Unique. Extraordinary items can also be rerolled but the original stats are replaced by a flat-rate bonus. Rerolling a Rare or Epic item will result in an ordinary version, while rolling the Epic version will result in an elite version.

(Dice 6 is dropped by monsters 21+, Giants and Bosses; Dice 12 can be found from Bosses). You will also require different amounts of Minerals, Erons and Giants.

Time is a major factor.

Item upgrades are a way to increase your gear and ship stats without needing to upgrade them. Upgrades aren't cheap but they can be a great way to increase your stats and not have to spend as much time fighting. However, it's important to know the cost and benefits of upgrading your items before investing your money or effort.

Each upgrade increases the item's base stat in a specific amount, and offers the chance of obtaining an additional substat. The extra substat is a random and could range from a small increase in one statistic to an even greater increase in another. Make sure to focus on the stats that are Best item upgrade in slot first. They will bring greater return for your investment.

You can see the time required to complete an upgrade by opening your inventory and selecting an item such as a ship, weapon or other accessory. The upgrade window will display the expected completion time and progress. In certain cases, you may be able to speed up the process of upgrading by applying a Glyph.

Rewards

The upgrading of items grants players currency and a range of items. Each upgrade also has the chance to grant an random stat bonus. The amount of bonus value is different for each upgrade, and is usually higher for rare items. Players can conduct a Great Vault search to see whether an item upgrader kit (Highly recommended Resource site) can be upgraded prior to purchasing tickets. The search can also help determine whether the item is an appropriate tier and whether the player would benefit from a specific upgrade.

During the upgrade process, an item will slowly grow closer to the next stage, but not always reach the fully upgraded bar. This process is based on Growthstones and Sollant but there is an 80% chance of achieving a fully upgraded item in just one cycle. The more levels an item receives, the higher its stat boost and the more items it is able to upgrade to.

Upgrade components can be incorporated into trinkets, weapons, or armor Item upgrader Kit in order to gain an attribute bonus or a special effect, when the equipment is worn. Certain upgrade components come with cosmetic effects. Players can obtain upgrade item items by crafting, purchasing from vendors or on the Trading Post, looting, or as an incentive. Players can also retrieve upgraded items using an Upgrade extractor, or salvage using a salvage of a higher tier kit. Glyphs placed on tools for gathering can be swapped freely.

By selecting the item and pressing the green button that has an arrow that rerolls players can reroll it into another upgradeable item. This will alter the layout of the game and let players select up to six items for "recycling". The item will be replaced by an item of level 1. Rerolled items will not retain their level, or the resources used to upgrade them.

An item's maximum upgrade level is determined by its quality and tier. Rare items can be upgraded up to an maximum of level six, while Rare and Epic items can be upgraded up to level nine. The upgrade of an item is added to its base statistics. This means that they will not increase more after a certain point.
