2. IRobot Roomba

The iRobot Roomba X30 packs impressive vacuuming and mopping capabilities into a compact, sleek package. Its quick navigation and smart cleaning maps make it simple to clean and efficient at taking on larger particles, such as pet hair. It also has strong suction and self-emptying bin. It's the best automatic vacuum and mop Robot Hoover (Games.More.Game.Tw) for carpets, though it lags behind some competitors in deep cleaning.

It even cleans the floor after vacuuming this feature, which we haven't seen in other robot vacuum mop cleaner robot/mop combinations.

3. Roomba X40 from iRobot

The robot vacuum and mop combination has a sleek, circular design that appears more like the regular Roomba model than the bulky units of the competitors. It is one of our most appealing looking robot vacuums. The newest model from iRobot happens to be its smartest, with advanced features including Enhanced Dirt Detection Technology and future compatibility with Matter (another company's robot that can autonomously wash mop pads).

It's also the only robotic vacuum or mop that scored a perfect 10 out of 10 in our testing. This is due to a combination high-tech sensors including a structured lighting system, a camera, and a variety of lasers. The X40 Ultra was the only robot cleaner with mop we tested that could refill and empty its basestation autonomously. It also boasted a suction of 12,000Pa as well as self-cleaning mops.

The X40 as with other iRobot products, is simple to use. It has an intuitive mobile application interface, and it is compatible with Amazon Alexa and Apple HomeKit. The only drawback is that it's an eerily noisy device, which can be problematic if you run it in the morning before work, or at night when you attempt to sleep.

It's also a bit costly however, not as much as the Ecovacs MaxV Ultra or Roborock S8 Omni, which are both equally impressive and attractive. If you're willing to put up some more volume and a little more cost this is a powerful two-in-one that will please almost everyone.

4. iRobot Roomba L20 Ultra

The L20 Ultra is a top-of-the-range robot vacuum and mop with a lot of advanced features that let you get rid of your chores. Similar to Ecovacs the range-topping X2 Omni and Roborock's S8 Pro Ultra, the L20 is designed to be a hands-free cleaning machine that takes charge of both mopping and vacuuming, with a multi-function dock that automatically empty the vacuum's dustbin, refills its water tank and cleans and dry its mop pads.

The smart robot uses LIDAR and structured lighting to map out floorplans and identify obstacles. It is more efficient in its navigation than its top competitors. It also comes with a front-mounted camera that can detect hazards in real-time but this wasn't foolproof in our tests and could be confused with power cords or obstructions.

Its vacuum has a suction maximum of 7,000 Pascals, which is more than enough to finish the job. It also comes with a feature called "Intelligent Dirt Detection", that regulates the vacuum's power and adjusts cleaning frequency for different areas in the house based on how dirty the areas are.

If you have a bigger home, it is worth choosing a model that has spot or zone cleaning mode. This allows you to tell the robot which area of your house needs to be cleaned using the app or voice command. A stair mode can be useful if you own a large furniture. For families that are busy recharge functions and resume feature that allows your robot vacuum to continue from where it left off can be very useful.

iRobot RX3

The RX3 is more sophisticated than its price suggests. It does a stellar job vacuuming, removing 55% of debris in our tests (it was second only to the Roomba Q5 Pro). It also mopses using only one pad and a rotating motion that cleans better that most of the mop cleaners with robots that we've tried. It's also extremely self-sufficient, with a fully-featured application, and a self emptying, washable base.

The well-designed iRobot app guides you through an initial mapping session that collects data about your floorplan and any "no-go" areas you mark on the map. It can be used to design cleaning schedules or organize an automatic spot-clean. You can also use it to prioritize the most soiled areas for greater efficiency. The app also gives access to a host of features, such as seasonal suggestions, custom maps, and advanced settings for your cleaning.

Its shape is more rectangular than other robot vacuums, which means it is able to reach corners and underneath furniture better. It also has a powerful 8,000 Pascal suction and intelligent combs for hair of pets. And you can create a spot-clean that intensely cleans a localized area.

The Miele Scout RX3 Home Vision HD is a more sleek and more affordable alternative to the iRobot Roomba. It is more appealing in its design, akin to Dolce & Gabbana. The twin cameras are designed like cute eyes. It's good at vacuuming but is more prone to be caught by low thresholds and is louder than the other top robot vacuums we've tried. It also has a less intuitive app and a small base station that can't be used as an emptying bin.
