Any item upgrader NPC can be found in the game. Typically these NPCs are found in capital cities or major questing areas. Players can also find item upgraders in dungeons that have high-level bosses, or by talking to NPCs in their garrisons of their faction.

The item upgrade system in World of Warcraft provides players with the option of upgrading the levels of armor, weapons, and trinkets. This process is similar to gear reforging process in Mists of Pandaria or Warlords of Draenor. However instead of using currency, players need to visit an item upgrader to complete the process.

Requirements

Rerolling upgraded items is only possible if the item that was upgraded was Epic Rare, Rare, or Unique.
