It also has a mop lifter system which lifts the pad automatically as it transitions between tile and laminate, hardwood and carpet or rugs, to avoid soaking the soft surfaces.

The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self drying features. The pad can be cleaned and heat-dried within the dock and the dust container will get emptied and automatically returned to it. This means you can just set it and forget it, only needing to change the dust bag or refill the water tank occasionally.

All of this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. I tested it with its normal vac and mop settings for about 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to run low on power and returned to its base for a recharge. This is within the range of the 180 minutes that Roborock claims, and is on par with other hybrids I've test.

It's a well-rounded, capable product. The only downside is that it's pricey. However, its sheer abundance of features makes it a very appealing choice for anyone looking to go away from their old stick vacuums and mops. We highly recommend this auto vacuum and mop when you can justify the cost.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a high-end robot vacuums best vacuum and mop combo. Its price is justified by its impressive feature set, which includes an impressive vacuuming capacity as well as two gyrating mop mops. It features a real-time risk detection system, and its sophisticated controls allow you to schedule regular cleaning sessions.

The L10S Ultra does not offer superior carpet debris removal performance compared to the other hybrid mop I tested. The mops on the L10S Ultra aren't as effective at removing stubborn stains as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra's many premium features, it requires regular care and maintenance. The base station must be emptied, and the water tank and dust bag must be emptied, cleaned and dried regularly to prevent unpleasant odors and mildew. It is also important to note that the mop pads that are bought separately, will need to be replaced periodically too.

With the L10S Ultra's high-end price tag and extensive functionality, I would recommend it to anyone with the money for it. If you're on a budget, I recommend a more basic model that will allow you to save money while still being able to enjoy hands-free cleaning at your home. It's important to remember that even the L10S Ultra is the best robotic vacuum and mop combination you can purchase but its high price and ongoing maintenance will eventually make it more of a want than a necessity.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

If you're in search of a robot mop and vacuum that will remove dust and dirt on your hard floors while taking care of wet mess look no further than the Eufy S1 Pro. This powerful mop and robovac combo packs an impressive 8,000 Pa of suction power and a huge battery capacity to power both mowing and vacuuming and a top-of-the-line obstacle-avoiding. It has a mop with a roller that cleans by itself and makes it stand out from other models which require you to return to the base station to wash off the mop pad.

The S1 Pro has a unique mopping mechanism that is a departure from the spinning discs and microfibre pads found in other robots. The roller is almost the entire width of the robot, and it gets a constant supply of clean Ozonated, filtered water from the dock. The roller scrubs the floor while soaking up dirt. Any dry debris is removed using the side brushes, or swept away into the front collision bumper. The S1 Pro then dumps the dirty mop water into its base station which is then absorbed by the tank's heating elements before being is poured into a larger storage canister. The tank onboard can hold a good amount of water, and can take on up to a dozen mopping sessions before rushing out.

As with most robotic hoovers vacuums and mop sets, the S1 Pro is ready to roll out from the box. It must be filled with clean water, but this is a simple task by cleaning the dock. If you'd like to use your own cleaner you can add a cleaning solution to the dock. However, if you do choose to use this feature you'll have to purchase the branded cleaning solution from Eufy, which is more expensive than other robot brands that permit users to use their own choice of cleaners.

As with most robots that are available, the S1 Pro did well in the area of coverage and navigation efficiency. It was fast to map a room and it was able to navigate through furniture. It got stuck on carpets with larger piles a few times during my tests. However this could be improved by re-updating the software. 4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's entry-level mop and vacuum but it does have several impressive features. The dock's multifunction allows emptying the robot's dirtbag and refilling its water tanks, and washing and sanitizing mop pads is performed by the dock. The mopping system itself is capable of cleaning up a significant portion of a space before it needs to return to its dock, and the vacuum's extreme suction does a nice job of removing dirt and pet hair that accumulates on carpets.

The software that runs the appliance is quite dense, with a wide choice of options for customizing the cleaning process. You can choose to manually clean every area that is that this device maps or select specific rooms, zones that can be expanded, or a routine you've created. There are many mopping options that include SmartPlan -an algorithm that uses the sensors of the mops to find the most efficient way to clean your home while it maps the area.

Like all the Roborock models we've examined The Qrevo does well in our tests. Its navigation system works well, mapping rooms quickly and cleaning in an organized manner. Its 'Normal' pathing setting is excellent at covering a room, with no major gaps or missed areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system is also quite effective, though it's not as sophisticated as the color camera system of the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect hazards such as thick carpets however it won't always detect small things like rug tassels or electrical wires.

The most obvious flaw with this model is the absence of a mop after vacuum option which could be an issue for people who do a lot of vacuuming prior to cleaning with their robot. Thankfully, there's an easy workaround: the app includes the option to "clean up" at the end of every vacuuming session. This lets you utilize the mopping function of the vacuum to remove the last traces of dust and debris left behind by your vacuuming.
