What is an Item Upgrader in Pokemon Go?

The upgrader for items adds a new widget to the top of the Angel and Cash Upgrade windows. The Manager is priced at 33 billion Angel Investors, and has no other benefit to the game, aside from making it easier to purchase upgrades.

Boosters

With an upgrader for your item you will be able to enjoy numerous bonuses. These could include stats, as well as extra bonuses. These bonuses can be applied to weapons or armor, as well trinkets. Costs

There are some costs associated with item upgrades. The first is the cost to perform the upgrade. The cost is based on the item's new ilvl and the amount of perks it gains and can be costly. It can also be expensive to upgrade an item to a higher tier (such as Explorer > Champion, or Veteran > Heroic).

The second is the cost of the materials required to upgrade. The items used for upgrades are usually either Power Dices (dropped by monsters 21and up) or Minerals and Erons (obtainable by completing certain Mists of Pandaria or Warlords of Draenor quests). These materials can be found in the inventory of an upgrade item vendor.

It takes time to upgrade an item. Based on the magnitude of the upgrade, it could take anywhere from 8 to 12 hours. The upgraded item's base stats are calculated based on the item's new ilvl bonuses, perks, and other properties. This calculation determines the latest Armor Class bonus, damage dice, and other important statistics. In some instances the upgrade can grant additional advantages that can be picked from a list of available advantages.

In rare instances, the upgrade will replace only the most expensive perks. Sometimes, the upgrader will make other adjustments to an item, like changing the type of weapon damage or or removing an unwieldy or operational property. These modifications are based on an item's ilvl, and may require special materials, like Adamantine.

Success Rate

Item upgrades are based on an opportunity, and like any random system there is a chance that the upgrade won't succeed. There are a number of methods to increase your odds of success. This includes using an item upgrade dubbed an Upgrade Pity, or the addition of extra components to the upgrade.

The Upgrade Pity is available from the NPC for smithing in Lost Ark. It increases the odds of an upgrade succeeding by some percentage. This is similar to the luck bonus some items have but is more reliable. It can be added to any weapon or armor and can be used three times.

You can also add other materials to the upgrade to increase its chances of success. These are displayed in a separate window, above the + button. There are some limitations. The maximum amount of material you can add is shown directly above the + button.

A Blacksmith Blessing or an upgraded version can be used to boost the chances of a successful upgrade. This item upgrader kit is beneficial when you own an item of equipment that has reached the highest level for its tier or is close to it. This item allows you to upgrade the equipment to the next tier without the risk of it breaking.

If an upgrade is unsuccessful the upgrade will be reversed to its initial state. This is usually a break, but it could also be a downgrade. It is an excellent idea to save an upgrade when you're close to the maximum level of an item upgrading, and to use it as a last resort.

There are several items in the Kafra shop that can be used to increase the chances of a successful upgrade. You can increase the chances of success by enhancing your equipment several times using HD Oridecon and HD Elunium. Similarly, enhancing the chance to receive a Double Mint from Shoe-Minting a maximum of five times will improve the chances of success.

Failure Rate

The upgrader of an item allows players to add a second slot in their equipment. These slots can be used to upgrade an item upgrade or apply an enhancement. However, it is important to know that not all items can be upgraded. The rank of an item will determine the speed at which it can be upgraded and enhanced.
