The Best Robot Vacuum That Mops

Some of them have excellent mapping and obstacle avoidance. Some wash and refill mopping pads for a hands-free clean.

The Eufy S1 Pro

This is the model you need to choose if you want a robot vacuum cleaner that also mop. It's smaller than other models on this list making it easier to navigate in tight corners and under furniture. It features a 220-degree Lidar which, when combined with the 3D Matrix Camera System, offers one of my top navigation and object avoidance capabilities I've seen in best robot cleaner vacuums. It packs a powerful 4600mAh battery which lasts up to 170-minutes if mopping and suction are set to standard mode (it can last longer in turbo). It can even return to its dock to recharge its battery mid-clean.

It's extremely quick and does an excellent job of cleaning my two bedroom apartment. It vacuums carpeted rooms quickly, and hardwood floors in the kitchen, living room and hallways in just one sweep. Its motor of 8,000pa is able to pick up dirt hair, pet hair, and droppings with ease. Carpet detection boosts power automatically when it comes into contact with rugs, and the two side brushes help draw out dirt from corners.

The mopping efficiency is less impressive, but not by a lot. The mop's rotating motor spins at a high velocity and is pushed down with 2.2lbs of force, effortlessly scrubbing up dirt and staining. I've noticed that the front arm sticks out a little more than other robots. This is useful when you're trying to get into tight corners or along baseboards. The same front arms can also be used to scoop up larger objects like broken toys and books.

The S1 Pro is also one of the quietest robot mops and vacuums I've tested. It doesn't make as loud of a sound while vacuuming or mopping and is quieter than the Narwal Freo X Ultra or RoboRock S7. The only drawback is that the S1 Pro must use a proprietary cleaning solution for mopping and is sold separately from the vacuum. It's simple to set up and is effective, but this is something that you'll need to keep an eye on when you purchase this vacuum for the sole purpose of mopping.

The Roborock Q Revo

The Q Revo stands apart from the majority of robot vacuums which mops in its class. It is a powerful cleaning machine with a variety of features.

The device comes with an efficient cleaning system that combines LiDAR sensor technology with an RGB camera. This enables it to map out the house and identify furniture and other obstacles. This information can be used to clean efficiently and methodically. This ensures an efficient and consistent cleaning, while also being relatively quick.

The Q Revo DuoRoller mop pad can reach a variety of surfaces. These include corners, baseboards, and other hard-to-reach areas. The side brush can be stretched out to extend to the floor, close to the walls or other fixtures. The mop pads are washable and dry to eliminate odors and stop buildup.

Another feature worth mentioning is the customization options that are available through apps. The Q Revo allows you to adjust the amount of suction and choose between a back-and-forth or slightly more randomized pattern. You can also set the number of passes it will make, which will determine the speed at which the device can move around your home. You can also choose to turn off the side brush to prevent damaging rugs and carpets.

This device is expensive however it has many useful features. It's crucial to note that it incurs periodic expenses in the form of mopping supplies and maintenance. For instance, a brushroll needs to be replaced every six to 12 months or after 300 hours. The filter should be cleaned after 150 hours and the mop pad needs to be replaced every three to six months.

This robotic vacuum cleaner has an excellent rating on Amazon and comes with a wide variety of physical automation features. This includes an energy button that serves as a general "Clean button, as well as a 'Home button that sends it back to its base station after finishing the cleaning process. It also has a multi-functional dock that automatically empties the trash bin and refills its water tank to mop and washes and dry its mop pads.

The Shark Matrix Plus

The Shark Matrix Plus will be a good choice for busy professionals or anyone who needs to keep their home tidy without spending too much time doing chores. It's a top-performing device, smart navigation, and a long battery life that allows you to keep your home tidy with minimal effort.

The Matrix Plus robot vacuum is a two-in-one vacuum and mop. It is capable of vacuuming as well as mopping. The robot is divided into two parts, a dry bin and water tank that can be snapped out and in and a mopping module which includes microfiber pads. It's a little old-fashioned to have separate modules for mopping and vacuuming but it does mean you don't have to worry about changing the bags for disposables or refilling the tank with water.

Our testers found that the Matrix Plus did a great job at both vacuuming and mopping. Its best automatic vacuum cleaner feature is its accurate floorplan map, which it uses when cleaning. The Matrix Plus was able to navigate around furniture, rugs and other obstacles. The app also offers the option of setting 'No-Go zones' and virtual barriers that help to protect specific areas of your home from being cleaned with a mop.

The Matrix Plus also did a remarkable job at collecting pet hair. It was able to collect the majority of hair that our cats shed, and even found its way into the nooks and crannies of our stairs which other robots struggled. It was relatively silent and also had a few nice jingles that indicated when it was about to start or finishing its work.

The app was too easy and you had to switch the modules every time you changed between mops and vacuuming. The app isn't able to store multiple maps, which could be a problem if you have a home that has a variety of floors. The Matrix Plus is a good option for those who want a smart robot that is capable of mopping and vacuuming.

The Yiko X1 Omni

The X1 Omni robot vacuum is the most expensive in our review. It does however, have distinct features that make it worth considering. The X1 Omni's biggest draw is its enormous dock, which doubles as the robot's charging base and the housing for two water tanks, a clean sink as well as a 2.5-liter dust bin that automatically empties.

The base also has a number of buttons to control the system. These allow you to start a cleaning task, recall the robot, or use the dock's automatic vacuum cleaner emptying process. Press two buttons to switch off the child lock. This is a wonderful feature for parents worried about their kids messing around with the vacuum.

Like other robotic vacuums, the Omni Omni uses its camera to detect furniture and obstacles in its path and avoid them. Its True Mapping 2.0 navigation system maps your home 10 times faster than standard laser detection systems and is four times more accurate at recognising objects.

This can cause the X1 to get stuck if it is entangled in a hazard, such as a power cable draped over a rug. It won't function until you manually untangle it. This was a rare incident however it was frustrating because the X1 doesn't have an "stuck status" alert in its application.

The X1 Omni isn't able to automatically switch between mopping and vacuuming mode during the cleaning process. You'll need to manually switch between the two modes, which isn't that bad but the mopping pad isn't washed or dried between uses. This could lead to mildew and mold.

On the positive side it's worth noting that the X1 Omni is a beautiful-looking robot vacuum cleaner reviews thanks to the design team at Jacob Jensen (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who came up with its modern and sleek base as well as mopping pad apparatus. It's a huge difference from the utilitarian black bases of rivals like Roborock or iRobot. It's also an excellent choice for an industry dominated by boxes.
