It also has mop lifter that will lift the pad automatically when it is able to switch between tile, laminate hardwood, carpet or rugs to prevent soaking soft surfaces.

Additionally it is also the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying capabilities. The pad can be used for rinsing and heat-drying within the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty before returning to the dock. This means you can just set it and forget it, only needing to replace the dust bag or refill the water tank on occasion.

All this is powered by a lithium-ion battery of 5,200mAh. I ran it on its normal vac and mop settings for around 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to get power hungry and return to its base for a recharge. This isn't too far from the 180 minutes that Roborock claims, and is on the same level with other hybrids I've tested.

It's a robust, well-rounded product. The only downside is that it's pricey. The number of features make it a great choice for anyone looking to replace their old stick vacuums and mops. We highly recommend this vacuum for those who can afford its cost.

However, the L10S Ultra's real selling point is its innovative multi-functional docking station. The docking station emptys the dustbin into a bag to collect dirt, refills the water tank to use for mopping, and even dry mop pads. It is equipped with a real-time danger detection system, and its sophisticated controls let you schedule regular cleaning sessions.

The L10S Ultra does not offer better performance for removing carpet debris compared to the other hybrid mop I tested. The mops on the L10S Ultra are not as effective at removing stubborn stains as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

In spite of the L10S Ultra's numerous high-end features, it still requires regular maintenance and care. The base station must be cleaned as well as the dustbag and water tanks should be cleaned, emptied and dried on a regular basis to avoid unpleasant odors and mildew. It is also important to note that the mop pads that are bought separately, will need to be replaced periodically too.

I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the funds. If you're looking to save money I suggest a more basic model that allows you to save money while still being able to enjoy hands-free cleaning at your home. Even if the L10S Ultra was the best robotic mop and vacuum combination you could buy however, its price and ongoing maintenance will make it more of a want than need.

You can also add a cleaning solution to the dock if you prefer to have the option of using your own brand of cleaner. If you decide to opt for this feature you'll have to purchase the branded cleaning solution from Eufy which is more expensive than other best robot cleaner brands that permit users to use their own choice of cleaners.

The S1 Pro performed well in the coverage and navigation efficiency tests, as did most robots. It was quick to map out a space and navigated around furniture. It got stuck on carpets with thick piles a few times during my tests. However this could be improved by re-updating the software. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that provides lots of features at a reasonable cost.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock’s entry-level vacuum and mop, but it still has some outstanding features. Its multi-function dock drains the robot's dirtbag and refills its water tanks, while washing and sanitizing the mop pads as it moves. The mopping system itself is capable cleaning a good bit of a space before it needs to return to its dock and the vacuum's powerful suction does a nice job of removing dirt and pet hair that accumulates on carpets.

The software that runs the appliance is extensive, and provides many options to customize the cleaning process. You can choose to manually clean every area that is mapped by this device or select specific rooms, an expandable zone or a custom routine you've designed. There are several mopping options, including SmartPlan -an algorithm that uses the mops' sensors to determine the most efficient way to clean your home while it maps the space.

Like the other Roborock models we've examined, the Qrevo performs well in our tests. Its navigation system is robust it can map rooms quickly and cleaning them in an organized manner. The 'Normal' setting for pathing does an excellent job of covering a room, leaving no major gaps or missing areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system is also quite effective although it's not as advanced as the color camera system found on the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect hazards like thick carpets but might not be able to recognize smaller items such as rug tassels and electrical wires.

The most obvious flaw with this device is the absence of a mop-after-vacuum option, which could be a problem for those who do a lot of vacuuming before cleaning their robot. Thankfully, there's an easy solution: the app offers the option to "clean up" at the end of each session. You can use the vacuum's mopping capabilities to remove the dust and traces that were left behind after vacuuming. It's a nice feature and can help the robot get rid of a bit better than its less expensive competitors.
