Izziwotnot's Bailey Sleigh cot-bed isn't cheap but it's elegant and well-constructed. It's simple to put together however, it requires two people. It's stunning in any nursery. Our panel loved the dark wood and dowel sides, and it's sturdy enough to be used until your baby turns toddler. It also meets British safety standards - the depth isn't too deep that your child can climb out and the distance between the slats should not be more than 65mm, which should prevent their head from being trapped. You'll also have to purchase a mattress, which costs an additional PS88.

The sleigh-shaped crib is stunning and makes it stand out from the rest. It's also easy to take your baby in and out, which is another major benefit. It's a little more expensive than other cot-beds, but our panel thought it was worth it for its appearance and durability.
